Privacy and Policy

Your Privacy

At Glowing Psychology, we take your privacy seriously and are committed to keeping your information safe.

We collect some anonymous information about visitors to our website and about people who contact us by Live Chat or phone. This helps us understand how our website and services are being used. We do not collect names or addresses unless you choose to share them with us. We may be able to see your general location and how you contacted us.

Any information we hold is stored securely and can only be accessed by Glowing Psychology staff.

We follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which sets clear rules about how personal information must be used and protected.

Some information is classed as personal data. We will only collect or use personal data with your clear consent. If we have not asked for your permission, we will not use your personal information.

Details about how and where your information is stored, and your rights under GDPR (including the right to access or request the deletion of information about you or your child), are explained in our Terms and Conditions. These will be shared with you when we begin working together.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
At Glowing Psychology, we are committed to using Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly, ethically, and in a way that supports high-quality care.

When we use AI, we focus on:

  • Transparency – we are open and clear about when and how AI is used
  • Accuracy – we take care to ensure that any AI-supported information is reliable and appropriate
  • Fairness – we aim to avoid bias or discrimination in any AI-supported processes

We regularly review and improve our use of AI to make sure it meets high ethical and professional standards.

Session Records and Notes
Glowing Psychology does not record therapy sessions. Practitioners may take routine written notes during or after sessions to support safe and effective care. These notes form part of a confidential clinical record and are stored securely within our practice management system.

Clinical notes are only accessible to Glowing Psychology staff and will not be shared with anyone outside the service unless you have given clear permission, or where we are legally required to do so.
